Abbiamo prenotato l’esperienza con anticipo e dopo averci cambiato il giorno si sono dimenticati di passarci a prendere in hotel! Dopo un paio d’ore abbiamo riprenotato per il giorno successivo.. sono finalmente passati a prenderci ma forse era meglio cancellarla! Deludente! 636€ 2 adulti e 2 bambini dopo un oretta di strada (di cui siamo andati a vestirci con i vestiti termici) siamo arrivati su una strada ad anello di pochi km.
Pronti via senza slitta perché non c’era abbastanza neve, un giro di max 30 minuti.
E siamo ritornati a casa.
Non ci siamo neanche potuti avvicinare ai cani, ci hanno fatto scendere e su altre persone.
Per un costo tale mi sarei aspettata che qualcosa di più! Piuttosto sarei rimasta al santa village senza alzarmi alle 6,30 del mattino per mezz’ora di esperienza.. sconsigliatissima!!

We entered their "Safari house" in Rovaniemi main street to have information about tours. The receptionist just opened the website on a laptop and tell us to read by ourselves... 🤷🏻

ETHERAL LAPLAND AND ICELAND ----March 3
Tour by GO EVERYWHERE TOURS & TRAVELS PVT LTD
Group of 34 people with group leader Anwesha Nandy
1. Hotels during the tour were good, with Santa's Hotel Santa Claus at Rovanieni, Finland and Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort (Glass Igloos) at Saariselka, Finland the top pick. Breakfast was on a continental platform at all hotels and the menus were more or less the same.
2. Wherever Indian Dinner was served, they were good . also the local dinner/food served suited our Indian palates. Lunch was on the wayside Petrol Bunks in the form of hotdogs, sandwiches, tortillas etc as we travelled long distances by day alongwith city tours, zoos, while parking ourselves at hotels for the night.
3. Transport was mainly in the form of bus and the train Santa Claus Express(the upper decks were in the form of coupe with own toilets). The buses were airconditioned for comfortable ride with some places having a temperature of minus 10 C.
4. The tour had exhaustive coverage with ample time for the right places like the the Ranu Arctic Zoo , the Santa Claus Village, meeting with Santa, the place where the Arctic Circle is marked, the cable ride ,the churches and libraries.
5. The visit to the ICE HOTEL in Kiruna was the icing on the cake. It is a must see for all travelers to Finland. Seen to be believed at what human ingenuity can do. I think only Eskimos can live in such houses/hotels, for sleeping on icy beds only with bear skin as bed sheet is not us Indians, cup of tea.
6. We were fortunate to see AURORA BOREALIS for 3 nights out of the 5 nights we went AURORA hunting, the first one at Hella. An unforgettable moment of seeing Aurora on a personal basis.
7. The tour manager Ms Anwesha Nandy enlightened us with information/ history about the areas we were travelling through. Earlier also I had travelled with her and found her to be well versed in the area we travelled through. She was also very supportive.
8. The city tour guides were knowledgeable and patiently answered our questions.
9. it was a pleasure to be with such a group of nice and warm people.
10. A lifetime memorable experience , all in all.
